The home-based Super Eagle players are expected to be in the camp on Thursday to begin preparation for their next game of 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Benin Republic or Togo. This was declared on the Super Eagles official Twitter on Sunday.
The 2018 CHAN will be holding in Kenya from January 11 to February 2. It nonetheless stated that the place for the camp is going to be made known in a later, though Kano was cited as a potential host town.
“Our camp for the #2018CHAN qualifiers vs Benin Rep/Togo will now open on Thursday, July 20, 2017. Camp site will be communicated later,” Super Eagles handle posted. The home-based Eagles, coached by Salisu Yusuf, is going to be off to either Benin Republic or Togo for his first leg on August 11. They’ll host the second leg on August 19 with the winner qualifying for the 2018 CHAN tournament.
