The city police today arrested infamous Nigerian drug peddler, Okey once again with half a pound of heroin in a span of 2 months.
The accused was arrested in the under bridge of Surya Enclave during regular checking. While the police arrested him about two weeks ago and put him behind bars, he came out on bond lately. Within a couple of days, in another drug peddling move, he had been caught red handed by the town authorities.
The police said the interrogation of a Nigerian national, arrested on June 14, had disclosed that a medication network on a big scale was being run from Delhi and drugs were being provided in the national Capital to Jalandhar.
As per the interrogation of Nigerian national Agu Emmanuel, 32, of Amokwe city, he’d landed at the Mumbai airport at January to a tourist visa and had contacted his old partner Yohan in a neighborhood fabric marketplace. He explained after living in the Mohammad Arif marketplace in Mumbai with Yohan for one month he moved to Delhi where he met with Kingsly and Iffai who had been residing at Om Vihar in Delhi.
Afterward , he had been introduced to Okey, also called Lucky, who conducts drug firm in Delhi and various districts of Punjab. Taking the lead, the town authorities detained Okey in April this year, but he had been released on bond.
