Moesha Heath a 23-year-old make-up artist was shot dead outside her home in Sheffield, Westmoreland, Jamaica

The incident took place at approximately 5:50 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

According to Jamaica Observer Heath, also known as ‘Momo,’ drove into their yard with a male companion. After they left their vehicle, three men approached them from the rear of their house.

One of the men called the male and asked him to stop moving. After that, they opened fire on them.

Both ran in different directions, but the male companion was able to escape unhurt and was able to summon the police.

On arrival of the lawmen, Heath was seen lying on her back close to the entrance of her house with what appeared to be gunshot wounds in the region of her head and upper body.

She was subsequently transported to the Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
