Why I will advise you not to go on the Big Brother Naija show – Doyin
Reality TV personality Doyin David has offered insights on why participating in the renowned reality series, Big Brother Naija, may not suit everyone.
In a recent interview with The Morning Brief, Doyin emphasized that individuals lacking strong mental resilience should reconsider being part of a reality TV program.
As a former contestant in Big Brother Naija’s “Level Up” and “All Stars” seasons, the brand influencer reflected on her post-show experiences, noting the exhilarating financial opportunities it brought.
Nevertheless, Doyin cautioned against the toll it can take on mental well-being, citing the exposure to external judgment on contestants’ lives.
Despite acknowledging the show’s imperfections, Doyin highlighted the positive aspects that overshadow the negatives.
In her words: “I keep saying it. If you are not like mentally grounded and you are not sure about who you are and the type of person that you are, maybe you still have like issues with your mental health, I will not advise you to go on that show.”
