Baltimore bridge demolished with controlled explosions
On Monday, crews conducted controlled explosions on the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore to detach it from the stricken Dali cargo ship.
The collision in March resulted in six fatalities and caused approximately 4,000 tonnes of debris to enter the Patapsco River.
Since the accident, the 948 ft (289 m) ship has been stationary at the site, covered in remnants from the bridge. The scheduled demolition for Sunday was delayed due to lightning storms.
