“Your type is rare, I respect you” – Jigan Babaoja tells AFRIMEK president Femi Adebayo following suspension
Nollywood actor Jigan Babaoja has paid tribute to his senior colleague, Femi Adebayo, who also serves as the Mayor of AFRIMEK.
We reported last week that Jigan, along with Adeniyi Johnson, had been suspended from The African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK) club due to gross misconduct and violation of the club’s constitution.
In a detailed post on his Instagram page, Jigan took responsibility for his actions, acknowledging that he had disappointed them. He expressed remorse and asked for forgiveness, appealing to his fans and family to apologize on his behalf as well.
Jigan added that he is committed to making amends, seeking guidance, and rededicating himself to the principles of AFRIMEK and will strive to be a better example.
On Friday, he took to his Instagram page to share a photo of Femi Adebayo, who is the Mayor of AFRIMEK. He stated that Femi’s type is rare as he expressed how much he respects him.
“Leader! Your type is rare! Femi Adebayo salami I respect you @femiadebayosalami
Thank you, sir”.
In his comment section, Femi Adebayo appreciated him for the message.
“Thank you so much. I appreciate”.
Jigan wasn’t the only one suspended, as Adeniyi Johnson also bagged a suspension for gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution.
Reacting to the news, Johnson expressed sadness that his honorable club made such a derogatory post about him. He stated that though he wasn’t bigger than the club, there had been Adeniyi Johnson before the club and the post they made about him could cause harm. He noted how such a post was detrimental to his name, his family, and, most importantly, his brand.
