A hailstorm of significant magnitude struck a city in Germany.
The southwest German city of Reutlingen experienced a storm with hail and intense rainfall. According to city officials, the hail led to 30cm (12 inches) drifts in certain areas, prompting the deployment of snowploughs to clear the affected places.
Approximately 250 firefighters participated in the cleanup efforts in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg.
