Veteran Nollywood actor Adebayo Salami, famously known as Oga Bello, has reflected on his five decades of dedicated work in the industry, sharing nostalgic photos from his early career.
In a recent post, Oga Bello shared an old photograph of himself with colleagues from their prime years. He expressed gratitude to God for the continuous blessings over his career and family, celebrating more than fifty years of commitment to Nollywood.
Concluding his message, Oga Bello remarked that actors never truly retire; they simply tire. He urged his fans to stay tuned for upcoming releases.
“With over 5 decades of committed practice in Nollywood, I am indeed most grateful to Almighty God for His unending blessings over my career and family.
Actors only get tired; they don’t retire.
Get ready for what is coming soon,” Adebayo Salami wrote on Instagram.
His son, actor Femi Adebayo Salami, paid a heartfelt tribute to his father’s dedication to his craft. Femi thanked his father for being a mentor, friend, and confidant, and for showing him the right path.
He highlighted his father’s tireless involvement in productions, even during odd hours, describing him as an irreplaceable guide and consulting director for the upcoming project.
Speaking, Femi Adebayo revealed that he can never be tired of admiring his father’s dedication to him, and as a proud son, he would share his stellar performance to the world.
Also, Nollywood director and producer Tunde Kelani penned special birthday greetings to him. He shared a special photo of the celebrant on Instagram with prayers and cheers to Adebayo Salami’s new age.
