Actress, Angela Okorie cries out over a video of discarded PVCs found in Anambra state
Angela Okorie, a singer and Nollywood actress, has responded to a viral clip that showed thousands of Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs)discarded in Anambra.
A hunter discovered the PVCs in the forest during a hunting expedition, just a few days before the 2023 general elections.
The incident raised eyebrows within the community. Locals investigated and found that the PVCs belonged to a registered voter who had just registered.
The cards are being sorted and delivered to the polling stations so their owners can collect them before the election.
Reacting to the incident, Angela Okorie lamented bitterly over the wickedness of the person who disposed of the PVCs, instead of distributing them to their owners.
She shared the video on her Instagram page, and wrote,
