Actress Carolina Danjuma calls out Ashluxe after their staff threw Teargas on her and Shan George, threatens legal action
Nollywood actress Caroline Danjuma has called out the popular clothing brand Ashluxe after an incident involving their staff, who allegedly used tear gas on her and her colleague, Shan George.
In a post on her Instagram page, she explained that they had parked in front of the brand’s building when security approached them, instructing them to move. According to her, the situation escalated, and they were hit with tear gas. She expressed fear, recounting how quickly things unfolded, and she feared they might have shot her.
Caroline also questioned what could have happened if she had been alone with a malfunctioning car, pointing out that even her police escort, who had been pleading for calm, was sprayed with tear gas.
The ex-wife of billionaire Musa Danjuma further emphasized that she had never witnessed such mistreatment from her own security team and vowed to take legal action against Ashluxe.
“This is my first time calling out a company/brand. I know in Nigeria, customer service and kindness is a rare skill for business owners. I’d rather walk away to mind my biz as long as I’m not patronising you again. This was just the height, the international attempt to harm me and anyone around me. After spraying the tear gas, you still went around my car to spray Aunty Shan, then still sprayed inside my car while I was sitting in it, and then still went to bring gun. On top what, really? Clothes I can’t afford in your store or I don’t have? All because of waiting for Uber for just 6min. Within the time of this madness, the Uber had arrived. What was the reason for the chaos? People who do not have a voice are really suffering in this country. For real tho.
Aunty Shan, who was in the car minding her biz cause she was tired, was also baptised because a power-drunk human walked around my car to go spray her. Everything happened so fast; I was scared cause I thought he was coming around to shoot. Like this is how people get shot. Imagine if I was alone with a faulty car. My police was also sprayed even when he was begging for calmness; I had to call him back to the car. Tor, I am yet to see any of my security personnel treat anyone this badly. I will hand you over myself unless I am in an obvious harm way, you have no right to harass me or cause harm to no one. My body still hurts from the substance. Imagine if this one has opportunity to hold a political position”.
