Actress Regina Chukwu reacts as dogs reportedly maul security guard to death
Nollywood actress Regina Chukwu has responded to reports of a tragic incident involving dogs allegedly mauling a security guard to death.
According to online sources, a resident of Pinnock Estate in Lekki reportedly failed to properly secure his gate on Monday night, allowing his dogs to escape. The dogs allegedly attacked and killed an estate security guard.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @itzbasito, the unidentified security guard is seen lying lifeless on the ground as Boerboel dogs stand nearby. The post suggests that the dogs’ owner inadvertently allowed them to roam, resulting in the fatal attack.
Lagos State Police Command spokesperson SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident on his verified X handle on Tuesday, adding that the dog owner has been arrested and an investigation is underway.
In her reaction, Regina Chukwu expressed that whenever she calls dogs “wild animals,” people often dismiss her concerns.
