AMVCA: Venita wins Best Dressed for the second time in a role
Social media users are raising questions about favoritism after reality star Venita Akpofure clinched the title of Best Dressed Female at the recently concluded AMVCA Cultural Day.
The 10th edition of the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards kicked off with a Cultural Day celebration on Friday, where attendees wowed the audience with their traditional attire.
Among the notable guests were BBNaija’s Neo and Venita, Tacha, Liquorose, OAP Do2dtun, Kunle Remi, Iyabo Ojo, and others.
Following a stiff competition, Venita and her cousin Neo Akpofure emerged as winners in the Best Dressed category. Neo secured the Best Male Dressed title, while Venita clinched the Best Dressed Female award.
This marks her second consecutive win in the category, having previously shared the honor with Yemi Cregx last year. Nevertheless, some voices on social media expressed dissatisfaction with Venita’s repeated victory, contending that Liquorose was more elegantly attired.
