“An injustice to one is an injustice to all” Iyabo Ojo calls out to Nigerian Police
Nollywood actress and advocate for the late singer Mohbad, Iyabo Ojo, has raised concerns about the Nigerian police in a now-deleted video on her Instagram page.
She emphasized the principle that injustice for one is injustice for all, expressing her determination to stand by individuals facing legal issues.
In the video, she addressed the Nigerian Police Force, asserting that she and others would accompany anyone going to court or a police station.
She made a firm commitment to actively pursue the case, stating, “An injustice to one is an injustice to all. Any court we go to, we will be there together; any police station we go to, we will be there together. Tomorrow, we move.”
This isn’t the first time Iyabo Ojo has criticized the police. Previously, she had demanded transparency when Sam Larry and Naira Marley were arrested, insisting that the police share photos and videos of the detainees in custody.
Since the untimely death of Mohbad, Iyabo Ojo has been a vocal advocate for justice, sharing previously unknown details about the late singer. She expressed regret for questioning God and described her interactions with Mohbad in the UK days before his demise.
In an unexpected turn, Iyabo Ojo even pledged to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) if they can ensure justice for Mohbad, despite her previous disdain for the political party. This shift in allegiance underscores her commitment to seeking justice for the deceased artist.
Refreshing your memory, Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, tragically passed away at 27 under unclear circumstances on September 12.
