Angela Okorie shares the dark side of the entertainment industry
Angela Okorie, the former Nollywood actress turned singer, has shed light on the darker aspects of the entertainment industry. In a recent Instagram live session, Angela revealed that she began to employ a security detail after surviving a gunshot attack.
As a reminder, Angela was the target of an attack by suspected assassins in December 2019 and reportedly endured 12 gunshot wounds to the head while returning home from a performance.
She emphasized that having security protection is neither a cost-effective nor straightforward endeavor, but she views it as a necessity for her personal safety.
Angela shared these insights in response to the recent tragic passing of the popular singer, Mohbad, who faced repeated attacks and harassment from individuals allegedly associated with his former record label boss, Naira Marley.
Angela further revealed how a certain Nigerian Disc Jockey was abducted twice by like her fellow DJs, but refused to speak up about the whole incident out of fear.
According to her, many things are happening behind the scenes in the entertainment industry that many people are unaware of.
