Asake breaks Burna Boy’s record on the Billboard Chart
Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, has surpassed Burna Boy to claim the record for the most entries on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
Asake secured nine spots on the chart this week with tracks from his latest album, Lungu Boy.
This remarkable achievement brings his total number of chart entries to 50. Notably, his song “Active,” featuring American rapper Travis Scott, has climbed to the top of the chart.
Since the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart was launched in April 2022, Nigerian artists have consistently dominated the rankings.
