Astronauts return to Earth after longest stay on ISS
Two Russian astronauts, Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub, departed from the International Space Station, setting a record for the longest stay at 374 days. Kononenko also achieved a new milestone for the longest cumulative time spent in space, totaling 1,111 days in orbit.
NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson was also on board the shuttle heading to Kazakhstan after spending six months at the station.
Suni Williams, one of the NASA astronauts who remained on the ISS after arriving via the Boeing Starliner spacecraft, rang the bell to mark their departure.
