No fewer than six persons lost their lives along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, yesterday in an auto crash.
An eyewitness disclosed that the victims included the driver of a Nissan Quest SUV, with number plate FKJ 297 AJ, along with his five passengers.
It was gathered that the Nissan Quest automobile came from Lagos end heading towards Abeokuta when the incident occurred.

The Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi, while addressing the issue said: “The accident was caused by excessive speed by the driver of the Toyota Quest commercial vehicle, who rammed his car into a moving Iveco truck from behind, killing all the occupants.
“I cannot say where the vehicle was travelling to, but it was coming from Lagos.”
Akinbiyi said the corpses was deposited at Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Ogun State’s mortuary.
