BBNaija S9: Biggie cancels Custodian challenge and HOH ballot, reinstates Immunity for Head of House
In a recent development for Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9, the organizers have announced major rule changes, including the elimination of the Custodian Challenge and the HOH ballot.
Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed these updates during Sunday’s live show. The Custodian Challenge and Head of House (HOH) ballot were initially introduced to bring fresh twists to the season.
Custodians had the authority to influence evictions and control the HOH ballot while being immune from eviction. However, these elements have now been scrapped.
As a result of these changes, the Head of House role has regained its Immunity privilege. However, the previous “save and replace” power once held by the HOH has been removed.
Additionally, housemates will no longer have the authority to vote for the eviction of the bottom four pairs.
Under the revised rules, housemates are now responsible for nominating pairs for eviction. The final decision on which pairs are evicted will be determined by viewer votes.
