Big Brother Naija housemate Sooj expressed his undying love for his fellow housemate and romantic interest, Nelly, by offering her his ancestral necklace as a symbol of his affection.
In a viral video circulating online, Sooj is seen professing his love to Nelly while clutching the meaningful necklace. In an emotional exchange, he promised to always support her, asking if she, too, would stand by him when times are tough and the world turns against him.
In his words: “I will stand by you. Do you agree to stand by me in those situations when the going gets rough and the world is against me? Do you promise that you will stand by me no matter the cause?”
Nelly said “Yes” and received the necklace, sealing and solidifying the bond between the both of them, according to Sooj.
He revealed that the necklace was passed down from his great-grandmother to his grandmother to his mother.
Sooj said that he took it accidentally to the house but now that she has it, he has no regrets.
Nelly confirmed that she never knew that Sooj was such a sweet and nice person.
