Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has issued a warning to her “unfriendly friends,” declaring her intention to remove them from her life.
In a post on her Instagram page, Edochie informed her followers of her firm stance on cutting ties with those who pretend to be friends but are actually enemies.
She expressed that she would continue eliminating such individuals from her circle until only the ones she could tolerate remain.
The outspoken actress also advised her fans to be wary of people who are overly quick to congratulate them on their successes, as these individuals may be insincere flatterers.
She further cautioned that these so-called friends are often the first to reveal their true, malicious nature when given the chance.

A few days back, Rita Edochie publicly announced that forgiveness isn’t part of her calling; as such, she warned the public to be mindful of how they gossip. She admonished those who know people fond of criticising others without knowing the real truth to caution themselves.
She also cleared the air about feigning her love and support for May after reports surfaced online that she harbours negative feelings towards her.
Dismissing these claims as baseless, Rita asserted that she felt compelled to address them due to concerns about her reputation.
