Bimbo Ademoye writes to God as she says powerful prayer for her father
Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has shared a heartfelt prayer for her father.
In an Instagram post featuring a photo of herself with him, she described her father as her “safe place” and recalled his reassuring words: no matter what happens in the world, she can always come home. Bimbo shared that she recently used those words in a movie, and for some reason, they struck a deeper chord.
She reflected on the distinction between a house and a home, expressing her love for December because it means going home to spend Christmas with her father. She also cherished the joy of having all her siblings come together, calling it the “icing on the cake.”
In a heartfelt prayer, Bimbo asked God to keep her father alive as he grows older, noting that there is still so much she wishes to do for him.
“My Safe place. My Dad would always say ” No matter what happens Outside, know that you can ALWAYS come home”. I used those words in a movie recently, and for some reason, it hit differently. There’s a whole difference between A home and A house. My favorite thing about December is going home to my daddy and spending Christmas with him. Having all my siblings come home as well is the icing on the cake. Dear God, pls keep my daddy as he’s old and gray, ki iku ma pa daddy mi. There’s a lot I still have to do for him. Who else is excited about going home this Christmas?”.
