Biodun Okeowo pens heartfelt note to Lola Idije for defending her over husband snatching allegation
Biodun Okeowo, widely known as Omoborty, has expressed her gratitude to her senior colleague, Lola Idije, for standing up for her amid allegations of husband-snatching.
Earlier, we reported that the controversial Instagram blogger Gistlover claimed Biodun had taken her husband, whom she married earlier this year, from Lola Idije’s daughter.
In response to the allegation, Okeowo clarified that her husband has never met any of Lola Idije’s daughters and that he was introduced to the veteran actress solely through her. To dispel the rumors, she urged her colleague, Tosin, to address the situation, as she noticed that Tosin had been making indirect comments about it.
Lola also defended Biodun, stating that she never snatched her husband from her daughter. She pointed out that she attended Biodun’s wedding, which would have been impossible if the rumors were accurate. Lola emphasized that the first time she spoke to Biodun’s husband was during a phone call in which she introduced him, and that none of her daughters know him personally.
Now, taking to her Instagram page, Biodun appreciated Lola for speaking the truth, and she noted how the internet never forgets things, and she doesn’t want to be remembered for something that doesn’t define her. She added that she needed to speak up for herself, her husband, her children, her family, and her fans.

I come first in all of this, my sanity matters. Being bullied is not healthy. I had to speak out, especially after seeing my daughter’s comment on Gistlover, defending me. That was the breaking point for me. I can’t remain silent seeing my child in that state, that is something she would never have done under normal circumstances. For her to do that. I know it’s time for me to save their faces.
