Boy dies in hospital after being found in River Thames
Police have reported the tragic death of a young boy discovered in the River Thames.
Following his disappearance from his home in Thamesmead, south-east London, a plea was issued by the Metropolitan Police on Friday to locate five-year-old Daniel Alaby.
Subsequently, authorities confirmed that a child, believed to be Daniel, was located in the river and urgently transported to the hospital in critical condition, where regrettably, he was pronounced deceased.
Police have stated that there is currently no indication of any third-party involvement in the incident.
The Metropolitan Police disclosed that their officers administered CPR at the scene prior to the child’s hospitalization by paramedics.
An investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, as stated by the police force.
