Burna Boy honours late Indian friend, Sidhu Moose Wala with a customized pendant
Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Burna Boy has paid tribute to his late friend, Sidhu Moose Wala, by wearing a pendant adorned with the likeness of the Punjabi rapper, who tragically passed away in 2022.
Sidhu Moose Wala, credited with bringing rap to rural areas, lost his life on May 29 when his car was ambushed by unidentified assailants. Burna Boy and Sidhu Moose Wala had a close bond that extended beyond their professional careers in the entertainment industry.
The self-proclaimed African Giant had collaborated with Sidhu on the posthumous single titled “Mera Na,” featuring Indian singer Steel Banglez.
To honor their shared memories, Burna Boy, recognized for his iconic Jesus-piece pendant, has replaced it with one featuring the face of Sidhu Moose Wala.
It is worth noting that the Police in the Indian capital, Delhi, have made three new arrests in connection with the killing of the singer who was shot 24 times.
