Burna Boy launches Football Academy in Lagos
Renowned Nigerian Afrobeat artist Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has officially launched the ‘Burna Boy Football Academy’ in Lagos.
This initiative is designed to support the growth of African football through a well-structured training program.
The academy reportedly operates three days a week, with each session lasting two hours.
Recently, videos showcasing the academy’s facilities and activities have surfaced online, surprising fans and followers.
In the viral clips, young footballers can be seen training on the field under the supervision of a coach.
Another video shows the players enjoying Burna Boy’s music and celebrating after a successful training session.
According to its official website, the academy caters to young football enthusiasts in two age groups: junior boys aged 4-15 and senior boys aged 16-21.
Training locations are available in Ikoyi, Surulere, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.
