“But you saw Selena’s DM” – Didi Ekanem drags Rema over tribute to Mohbad
Nollywood actress Didi Ekanem criticized Rema for showing his respects to the late Mohbad, his younger colleague, and receiving backlash in return.
After posting a screenshot of a message he had received from the late musician, Rema faced criticism. He openly mourned Mohbad and admitted that he had overlooked the late singer’s 2020 Instagram post where he had expressed his admiration for Rema’s song “Peace of Mind.”
Rema regretfully acknowledged that he hadn’t read the message until after Mohbad’s passing, expressing that it was now too late to respond.
Didi Ekanem pointed out that Rema had the ability to ignore Mohbad’s direct messages but not those from Selena Gomez, an American singer and actress.
She congratulated him, saying sarcastically that he did well.
