By the end of Buhari’s tenure next year, Nigeria will be safer and more secured – Chief Of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari
Professor Ibrahim Gambari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, has assured Nigerians of their safety after the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari ends next year.
Gambari spoke on Sunday, October 2 at the 20th convocation lecture for the graduating cadets of regular course 69 of Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna. He stated that the President has supported the nation’s Armed Forces with the most advanced equipment necessary to allow them to fulfill their constitutional duties.
“It is on record that he has provided the military with sophisticated equipment with which to perform their duty.
“By the end of his tenure around May next year, Nigeria will (be) a safer, more secured country than when he assumed office as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic.”
Gambari thanked Nigeria’s military for their professionalism in protecting the nation’s territorial integrity. He also said that his principal is more concerned with the security of Nigerians.
