Austin Faani, a Nollywood filmmaker, has wondered why his female colleagues don’t support Funke Akindele in her Lagos State Governorship ambitions.
On Thursday, the producer who is happily married to screen diva Charity Eke (Chacha Eke), made his observations public via his verified Instagram account.
Austin Faani wondered if it could be envy that is holding back actresses from rallying around in support of Funke Akindele who is contesting to become the Deputy Governor of Lagos state under PDP.
He wrote: “Funke Akindele’s colleagues are not campaigning for her, especially the female celebrities.
Could it be envy or what?
We can post her film but not her political ambition.

I trust she will do better than all the previous Deputy Governors of Lagos put together.
