Court orders Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi to do a DNA test
The Magistrate Court in Ikorodu has issued an order for Wunmi, the widow of the late Mohbad, to undergo a DNA test with his son, Liam.
This directive came to light on Wednesday, April 17, through a statement endorsed by Monisola Odumosu, a member of the legal representation for the Aloba family.
In the documents submitted by the legal team, Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, sought authorization to deliver all pertinent legal papers, including those initiating the lawsuit, to Wunmi’s last-known residence.
The statement further detailed that Emmanuel Oroko’s legal representatives argued that the sheriff had made two unsuccessful attempts to serve Wunmi with the court documents about the DNA test.
“If the process were served on the last-known address of the respondent by Order of the Court, it would constitute good service and she would be aware of the pending suit.”
The Chief Magistrate has therefore granted the order for the respondent to be served by posting the court process on her last known address.
