Davido has a Netflix series about his life titled “David” coming in December
Davido, the Nigerian superstar, isn’t slowing down anytime soon as he has announced a new series about his life on global streaming giant, Netflix.
The 30BG leader, a prominent figure on the afrobeat music scene, has been a leading light in West Africa for the past few years. He broke through the Billboard charts and headlined major festivals around the world, released his collection with PUMA, and secured a global hit in collaboration with Arab star AISHA, “Hayya Hayya” (Better Together), one of FIFA World Cup Qatar’s official songs.
The Nigerian singer, who is currently touring to promote his new album “Timeless”, has revealed that Netflix’s docu-series entitled “David” will be released in December 2023.
Davido who sat for an interview with Dubai-based media house, Esquire Middle East, said;
“I have a movie coming out in December with Netflix. It’s very, very big. This is the first time I’ve said anything about it, actually. It’s a documentary–a docu-series about my life, called ‘David’. I shouldn’t be talking about this, but yeah.”
