Embattled newlywed singer Davido dismisses accusations of attempting to take his daughter Imade from her mother, Sophia Momodu, amidst a joint custody battle.
The controversy arose after the singer’s joint custody request prompted a counter-affidavit from his ex, who wrote a 100-paragraph document explaining why their child should remain in her care.
In response to social media users accusing him of leveraging his influence to take Imade under the guise of ‘joint custody,’ Davido clarified that he seeks joint custody, not full custody, as speculated.
“All I asked for was ‘joint custody’ but cus it’s davido yall wanna act like yall can’t read! SMH I’m off this … yall be blessed and I pray this never happens to you,” he wrote.
