Davido reacts as father donates N1 billion to church
Afrobeat star Davido has responded to the news of his father, Adedeji Adeleke, donating a remarkable N1 billion to the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church’s Centenary Endowment Fund.
The significant donation was made during a remembrance service in honor of Esther Adeleke, Adedeji Adeleke’s late mother, at the church’s headquarters in Lagos on Sunday.
The endowment fund was created as part of the church’s centenary celebrations to support its ongoing activities and future initiatives.
Davido took to social media to express his admiration for his father’s philanthropy, especially his support for religious institutions and education.
Commenting on a viral video of the event shared by social media influencer Tunde Ednut, the singer wrote:
“Anything Church or education, no worry, you don cash out.”
Davido also took to his Instagram story to further express his pride and appreciation, he wrote:
“My dear father inspires me every day! Love this man right here.”
The donation has since sparked waves of discussions on social media
