David Adedeji Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer, has revealed a roster of 427 verified orphanage homes slated to benefit from his donation of 300 million naira.
A recent report by Gistreel highlighted Davido’s intention to allocate 300 million naira towards various orphanages across the nation.
Shortly after the announcement, Davido took to his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), to share a screenshot as proof of the donation, addressing criticism from a user on the platform.
The following day, Davido posted a brief message on his media platform, stating that the contribution is his modest offering to the nation.
He wrote: “To our nation’s children, I remain grateful to be in a position to help. Please accept my humble contribution. Together we shall shape a brighter future!.”
