Despite not winning any of the three Grammy Awards he was nominated for at the 66th Grammy Awards, Afrobeats sensation Davido maintains his optimism for the future. He was spotted celebrating with his wife and others, indicating a positive outlook despite the loss.
Davido received nominations for Best Global Music Performance and Best African Music Performance for his tracks ‘Feel’ and ‘Unavailable’ respectively, while his album ‘Timeless’ was in contention for Album of the Year. However, he didn’t secure any wins in these categories.
After the Grammy ceremony, numerous Nigerians expressed disappointment online. Nevertheless, Davido’s family hosted a private after-party to honor his three Grammy nominations, capturing the celebration in lively videos shared by his cousins.
