“Dem fall for am” – Basketmouth, Miz Vick debunk engagement
Comedian Basketmouth has responded to rumors about his engagement to Victoria Eze, also known as Miz Vick, clarifying that the buzz was caused by a playful post meant to “chase clout.”
In a video posted on his Instagram, Basketmouth explained that he hadn’t anticipated people taking his engagement post seriously, but to his surprise, they did.
He joked, “Dem fall for am…hahahah!”
In the same video, Basketmouth also shared a teaser for his upcoming film titled ‘A Ghetto Love Story’, offering a glimpse into its gritty yet heartwarming narrative.
Miz Vick expressed excitement about the project, saying, “We have finally made our very first feature-length film, ‘A Ghetto Love Story’, and I’m really excited because I wrote the film.”
Basketmouth revealed that the story is based on a real-life experience, saying, “This thing happened to me in real life. I experienced it.”
The film is scheduled to premiere on the 22nd of November, as stated in the cover of the post on Instagram.
The film features a star-studded cast including Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Wale Ojo, Daniel Etim Effiong, Mercy Johnson, Efe Irele, Bright Okpocha, Victoria Eze, Beverly Osu, and Senatorcomedian, among others.
With the engagement rumours now cleared up, fans lamented the frustration of falling for the ‘clout’ hook, line, and sinker as expected by Basketmouth and Miz Vick.
