How To Design Professional Websites With WordPress

Hello my darling student, trust you are doing just fine today?

In the last tutorial, I promised to teach you a little bit about email marketing today. But I had to change my mind and teach you something else which is creating professional blogs and website with WordPress.

You see, when I started my internet marketing career, I always hear people talk about creating a blog and even professional sites with wordpress.

WordPress too has a free version just like blogger. But creating a blog or website with wordpress is kinda technical. I had no one to teach me how to design websites with wordpress at that time and instead of bordering myself with all the techy stuffs that comes with WordPress, I had to stick to my blogger.com which is much more easier to manage and operate as a beginner.

As I moved further, I had to master how to create a professional blog using wordpress but it wasn’t really easy doing this all by myself. But today, after watching several video tutorials and taking several courses on this, I have now become an expert at it to the extent that people even hire me to set up their blogs and websites for them.

You can check out my professional wordpress blog on www.aderonkebamidele.com, when you see my blog now, you will understand what I meant by professional wordpress blog, but before now, I was using a free hosted blog before which was on blogger.com, the former blog I am talking about is http://intimatetalkwithaderonkebams.blogspot.com.ng/ (At that time, I was using a custom domain name with it. The custom domain name was www.aderonkebams.com. But since I have moved my blog from blogger.com to wordpress.org, the domain name for my old blog which was www.aderonkebams.com now points to a new blog.

You see, if you want to own a professional blog, you need to learn how to use wordpress and the most amazing part is that, you too can also create a professional website or blog in 24hrs using wordpress.

Please follow this link to get all the tutorials you need to set up a wordpress website https://aderonkebamidele.info/create-a-professional-website/

When you visit that link, you will be able to learn how to design eye-catching websites using WordPress.

WHY IS THIS TUTORIAL VERY IMPORTANT?

Did you know that in Nigeria, it is not uncommon for small businesses to pay N250,000 or more to have a website designed? I’m not talking about large e-commerce sites either. I’m talking about information-based websites with contact forms and basic content.

Infact, few weeks ago, someone called me up and requested that I help him design a professional looking WordPress blog. I had a lot of work to do so I referred him to one of my colleagues. Guess how much he charged my client for this service?

N300,000? Can you imagine that? That is what people charge for this kind of service.

So If you know a little bit about how to use WordPress, you can cash in on the web design business by starting up your own web design company.

You could even charge considerably less than what some popular web design firms charges and still make good money.

How is this possible?

You can use existing free and premium WordPress themes available on the market. Many of these themes would be perfect fit for local customers with little or no customization at all.

At a website like Themeforest.net you can buy many great themes for around $30 or so which can be used on client sites. You can then in turn charge a local small business N250,000 or significantly more to design the website.

If you want to provide even more customization, you can hire freelancers to do complete overhauls on the themes where they are truly unique to your customer for a few hundred dollars. For these types of sites, you can probably charge closer to N500,000 in many instances.

I personally run a small web development business, so I know how it works.

To make money through website design, your first step should be to find your first customer.

Here are a few good places to find your first client:

•    Ask local business owners you know if they need a website or need an existing one redesigned

•    Announce at your church that you are now building websites for local customers. Maybe someone in church needs one or knows someone who does.

•    Get business cards with your web design business name on them and put them up at your dry cleaners and other local spots.

•    Tell your Facebook friends, twitter followers, on discussions forums like nairaland, moneylandforum.com, naijapals, etc.

•    Post free ads on free classified websites like olx.com, jiji.ng

These are just a few ideas. The key is to get your FIRST client, then build up from there.

There is no doubt that this one idea alone could be worth a small fortune to you and it is fairly obvious. Just search around at the premium WordPress site I mentioned above and review all the great themes available there that you could use.

You can purchase a reseller hosting package from namecheap by following the link below
http://www.namecheap.com

When you buy a reseller hosting package, you will be able to design a professional WordPress websites for hundreds of customers.

If you are on a low budget and you want an affordable WordPress hosting package for your own personal use, you can get it here.

If you are interested in getting started right away, all you have to do is follow this link to get started https://aderonkebamidele.info/create-a-professional-website/

You can also watch free youtube videos on how to set up a WordPress blog by going to www.youtube.com

In the search box, enter this query ”how to set up a wordpress blog” you will discover several free videos that would teach you step by step on how to get this done.

I hope you found this business idea insightful.

In the next tutorial, we shall talk about email marketing

Thank you for reading.
