Destiny Etiko shuts down rumors of Omotola Ekeinde’s husband buying her a new car
Destiny Etiko has responded to rumors involving her and her senior colleague Omotola Ekeinde’s husband, Mathew Ekeinde, allegedly buying her a new car.
As Destiny recently celebrated her birthday, speculation arose that she received a luxurious car as a gift from Mathew.
The rumors further suggested that Omotola was aware of their friendship, fueled by the resurfacing of old photos showing Destiny and Mathew together.
Addressing these claims, Destiny firmly denied the reports, asserting that 99.9% of her achievements have been earned independently.
She questioned the notion that men provide women with financial support, emphasizing that she has not received any benefits from men.
Regarding the viral photo, Destiny explained that it was taken four years ago during a flight in which Mathew was the pilot.
She clarified that she hasn’t seen him since that day and mentioned that the photo was taken as a courtesy, purely out of respect for her senior colleague, as Mathew did not even know her personally.
“I don’t need anybody to tell me that God has been faithful to me. There is something that has been happening, and it is really cràzy. I didn’t want to talk about it when I heard some nuisances: people who haven’t been able to feed themselves and are so jealous that they can’t withhold the blessings of God in someone else’s life, and you expect to grow. I didn’t want to talk about this cause I felt it was non-relevant.

I don’t know why some people are bitter. You know most of my birthdays I always buy a car, because I like to change cars every year. Some bitter people are pained that I bought a car that would shake them; that’s why they brought out an old picture of me with Omotola’s husband that I took over four years ago. How did it happen? I was on a flight, and he was the pilot, so some people were snapping pictures with me, and he was like, What’s going on there? They told him I was an actress, and he looked at me closely, I told him we should take a selfie, and he obliged. Nothing was there. We went down and took a selfie, and that was it. From that day till now, where I wan see the man? Wetin concern me”.
