Dog shoots and kills owner during a hunting trip
After his dog pulled the trigger as they drove, a Wichita, Kansas native was killed on Saturday, January 22
According to the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, the hunter’s dog stepped onto the rifle while it was sitting in the back, causing the gun to fire in the owner’s direction.
The man was found in the front seat of the car by cops who arrived at the scene at north Geuda Springs. The man was declared dead on the spot by cops who immediately began CPR. It is not clear if the animal suffered any injuries during the process.
