Doyin takes side with Vee Iye amidst a clash with Venita
BBNaija contestant Doyin David, featured in ‘Level Up,’ has weighed in on the ongoing conflict among her peers, echoing Vee Iye’s sentiments regarding Venita Akpofure.
The discord between the two originated when Vee Iye became romantically involved with Venita’s cousin, Neo Akpofure, leading to strained relations. Recently, their animosity resurfaced when Venita endorsed a disparaging tweet about Vee Iye.
The controversy escalated when Vee Iye posted a video on Instagram showing affection with an unidentified man, following a social media post from her ex, Neo Akpofure, and his current partner.
Venita’s endorsement of the negative tweet prompted Vee Iye to retaliate, dubbing her a “fool at 40.”
In response, Doyin David took a firm stance by liking a tweet that defended Vee Iye and criticized Venita as a bully and a fool. The tweets, from two social media users, agreed that Venita had overstepped and deserved the backlash from her younger colleagues.
“Anyone that blames Vee is a very foolish and unfortunate being,” the first tweet liked by Doyin stated.
The second goes thus, “None of you unfortunate stans should blame Vee for standing up for herself. Venita is a bulIy old f00l.”
