In recent days, there has been a notable rift between Toyin Abraham and her protege, Abike Shuga, resulting in their professional separation.
Abike Shuga, also known as Pelumi Olawunmi, who played a significant role in Toyin Abraham’s recent film, Malaika, encountered difficulties with her mentor over Funke Akindele.
Signs of their strained relationship became apparent as Abike Shuga was conspicuously absent from many of Malaika’s promotional activities, and Toyin Abraham ceased extensive promotion of her on social media.
Further investigation revealed that Toyin Abraham had unfollowed Abike Shuga on Instagram, although the latter continued to follow the mother of one.
It was discovered that Abike Shuga initially unfollowed Toyin Abraham, and although she later apologized and followed her again, Toyin did not reciprocate the gesture.
