EFCC sends a message to Naira abusers, suggests asking Bobrisky for an update
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a strong warning to Nigerians regarding the improper use of the national currency, the Naira.
This advisory follows the conviction of social media personality, Bobrisky, for offenses related to mishandling the Naira.
Bobrisky, known for his controversial online presence, received a six-month prison sentence from a Lagos court for his involvement in Naira abuse, with no option for a fine.
This incident has prompted the EFCC to reaffirm its position against such activities, emphasizing its seriousness in combating currency abuse.
Via Twitter, the EFCC reiterated its stance, cautioning individuals involved in Naira abuse.
