Empress Njamah laments over her 4 failed attempts at surprising Mercy Johnson and her husband
Nollywood actress Empress Njamah has expressed her frustration over her failed attempts to surprise her colleague, Mercy Johnson, and her husband.
On August 27th, Mercy Johnson and her husband celebrated their wedding anniversary, and just two days later, the actress marked her 40th birthday. Empress, who owns a surprise company, made several attempts over four days to surprise the couple, but all her efforts were unsuccessful.
Sharing the experience on her YouTube channel, Empress explained how she tried reaching out to the couple but received no response. She even reached out through fellow actress Yvonne Jegede, but that also didn’t work out.
Despite the setback, Empress praised Mercy, calling her an incredible person, and celebrated the couple’s marriage. She fondly recalled being present at Mercy’s wedding and expressed her gratitude for their continued strong relationship.

It wasn’t easy trying to surprise Mercy and her husband for four days.
For the first time in my years of surprising people, Mercy surprised me. I have been calling you but you haven’t been picking.
Happy birthday to an amazing person and happy anniversary. You know your anniversary means so much to me.
You know how we had sleepless nights on the night of your anniversary. How you were always checking up on your husband, if he was okay and I was in the hotel trying to get the Chief Bridesmaids and everybody ready. You cried a lot and was so sweet in the wedding”.
