Funke Akindele deletes PDP’s political posts from her Instagram page
Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress has removed all political posts from her Instagram account.
We took a look at Funke’s Instagram account and noticed that Funke had deleted all political posts about herself and her principal Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, better known as Jandor after they were elected under the People’s Democratic Party to the governor and deputy governor positions.
Funke’s actions come just hours after the 2023 gubernatorial election took place in Lagos, despite reports of thuggery or tribalism.
We reported earlier that Funke Akindele lost her polling unit 019, Ita aro square, Aga/Ijimu Ward in Ikorodu Lagos State to Babajide Sanwoo-Olu, the incumbent governor of the All Progressives Congress.
According to the results collated from the polling unit, PDP secured a total of 19 votes while APC scored 77 votes. Labour Party polled 3 votes.
