Gunmen abduct a woman inside a church in Imo
On Sunday, July 10, gunmen stormed the First Baptist Church, located on Wetheral Road, Owerri, Imo State, and kidnapped Biola Abioye (also the wife of General Manager, Owerri Zoological Garden, Nekede).
Eyewitnesses claim that the gunmen arrived in a Toyota car and waited for the service to be over before striking. According to eyewitnesses, the gunmen fired shots in the air that pierced the church walls before moving on with their victim.
This is the latest development that the state police command has not commented on.
