How Burna Boy’s songs motivated me to resume music after I resigned — BNXN
Prominent Nigerian singer Daniel ‘BNXN’ Benson has disclosed that he temporarily set aside his music career when he gained admission to university, only to later rekindle his passion after being deeply influenced by Burna Boy.
The artist behind ‘Gbagwalada’ shared this revelation during an episode of Hip TV’s show, “Trending,” where reality star Kim Oprah served as the host.
BNXN elaborated on how his return to the music scene was triggered by the inspiring music of Burna Boy and British rapper J Hus. He went on to describe the profound significance of being signed by his mentor, Burna Boy, on the very day they first met.
In his words;
“When I got into the university, I dropped everything that had to do with music.
“What inspired me to go back to doing music was that I started listening to Burna Boy and J Hus. I started listening to real music. And I was like, I think I can do this.”
