“I almost lost my life from carbon monoxide poisoning“ – Ireti Doyle recounts
Ireti Doyle, a seasoned actress, revealed a startling account of a harrowing encounter with carbon monoxide poisoning that nearly claimed her life.
According to her, the incident transpired on November 19, 2023. Initially, she had a positive start to the day, filled with joy and excitement as she was surrounded by loved ones. However, a routine stop at a mall took a perilous turn.
Half an hour after capturing joyful moments with her children, Ireti recounted being discovered unconscious in the car, with frothing at the mouth and blood trickling from her nostrils.
The culprit behind this near-fatal episode was identified as carbon monoxide, which had infiltrated the car through the air conditioning vents.
Both Ireti and the driver unknowingly breathed in the toxic gas. She emphasized the crucial role of divine intervention in saving her life, underscoring that her survival was solely attributed to the grace of God.
She described how logistics, every resource required, and the top medical personnel in Nigeria just so happened to fall into place. Ireti also said that she might not have been able to give her testimony if there had been a small change in any one of the variables.
