“I almost turned to Bobrisky but God said no” – Media personality Tosin Silverdam shares testimony
Media personality and Instagram blogger Tosin Silverdam has shared a heartfelt testimony about how God prevented him from becoming the next Bobrisky.
In a post on his Instagram page accompanied by a throwback photo, Tosin revealed that he almost went down a similar path but credited divine intervention for redirecting him. Grateful for personal growth, he opened up about the struggles he faced growing up, including battling low self-esteem due to his feminine appearance.
Tosin disclosed that he was a victim of sexual abuse and harassment by individuals including a neighbor, teacher, and church minister, which further affected his self-image. He admitted to hating his appearance during his younger years but eventually realized he could improve himself. This realization led him to focus on fitness, and he now regularly hits the gym.
Additionally, Tosin shared that he underwent surgery to remove his breasts and continues to work on managing his feminine mannerisms.
“When I almost turned to Bobrisky, but God said, no one… Thank God for growth; growing up looking feminine was really hard for me; I had low self-esteem, and I was severely abused and harassed by my neighbor, my teacher, and a minister in my church. I hated how I looked… I grew up and realized I could actually work on myself; that’s why you see me go to the gym back to back, lifting weights. I even did surgery too to remove boobs. Mehn ko easy, one thing I’m battling with now is my female mannerisms, which I’ve given up already. This is who I am”.
