“I always thought that OBO hated me” — Omah Lay says after Davido gives him a shoutout
Nigerian artist Omah Lay expressed astonishment when Davido gave him a shoutout while on a livestream with Kai Cenat, an American.
The singer took to Twitter to share his surprise and gratitude. He confessed that he previously thought the veteran musician disliked him, but now realizes that wasn’t the case.
During a nighttime drive with Kai Cenat, Davido played Omah Lay’s song, ‘Reason’. As the track played, Davido introduced Omah Lay to Kai, praising him as “Hot asf”.
Kai Cenat, recalling a past incident where Omah Lay danced with someone else’s girlfriend onstage, jokingly expressed fear of Omah Lay and pleaded with him not to steal his girlfriend.
Omah Lay who was grateful for the exposure Davido gave him on the livestream, is now reassured that the singer doesn’t hate him.
He tweeted;
