Crayon, a rapidly emerging artist, has rebuked those who criticize him for defending his label mate, Rema.
Earlier, we reported that Rema took to the X platform to address Nigerians regarding the conception of Afrobeat. He emphasized the expansion of the genre, referring to it as the Big 4 instead of the traditional Big 3, and asserted Afrobeat’s supremacy.
In response, Crayon voiced his support for Rema’s statement, sparking a barrage of criticism.
One observer pointed out the intense backlash from Tweeps towards Crayon, but an unperturbed Crayon remarked on how he is living the life they dream of. He mentioned his possession of a Mercedes Benz AMG worth N170 million, emphasizing that while he doesn’t boast, he enjoys his success.
