“I am now in a safe country” – Yomi Fabiyi shares video of the room he was hiding before fleeing Nigerian following assassination attempt
Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has shared a video showing the room where he hid before fleeing Nigeria after surviving an assassination attempt.
Earlier on Monday, it was reported that Yomi had claimed his life was in danger following multiple assassination attempts. He revealed that two days ago, he narrowly escaped from the attackers, and they had planned another attempt on his life Sunday night. He expressed that, had they succeeded, he would have been dead by now.
Yomi emphasized that he had not taken money from anyone, yet his life is being targeted because of his fight for justice. The actor, who remains in hiding, added that he won’t let his body be used as an experiment.
Now, taking to his Instagram page, he shared a video of the room he was hiding before he was taken straight to the airport. He stated that he is now in a safe country where the system works for everybody and where the government and police don’t cover up murder and homicide.
“This was where I was hidden and slept over before I was taken straight from here to the AIRPORT. Thank God for life.
I am definitely coming back shortly after some serious procedures. I must live to tell the story of my own war. I have preserved my life and live to fight another day.
I am happy they couldn’t get me, my phones, and access my archive.
Thank you guys. I am 95% in a safe country where the system works for everybody equally, where the government and their police don’t cover up murder, homicide, etc.
NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER.
Aluta Continua!”.
His alleged assassination attempt could be due to his interference with late singer, Mohbad’s case.
Last month, the Yoruba actor announced his plans to conduct a private investigation into Mohbad’s death. He, however, said he wouldn’t be giving details of his investigation to the public for safety and the right to privacy.
In another post, he shared a video of him visiting CURA_MED hospital, where he stated that the hospital did everything right and showed overwhelming proof.
